Epson Stylus C58-yellow ink not being printed even though the yellow cartridge is full?
I had recently bought TO763 yellow ink for my Epson Stylus C58 printer. The photos I printed had a pinkish tinge and I had noticed that the yellow color along with all the colors like green which required were not being printed properly. Then I printed words yellow in color to test it and a few yellow dots were printed. Then I cleaned the nozzle yet the problem persisted. I removed the cartridge and shaked it.I heard the sound of the ink which shows that the ink had'nt dried up.Could anyone please help me out with this and please tell me whether there is a problem with my printer or is it with the cartridge....
There are two possibilities since this is an Epson:
1. Your yellow ink cartridge is different formulation than your
others. This may happen for example if you are using
remanufactured or refilled cartridges and they are purchased
at different times or from different vendors.
Different formulations do not mix well many times and
some colors may cancel other colors. So if your nozzle check
on yellow is good but the yellow does not mix well to produce
other colors then this is it.
or most likely
2. Your printhead channel for the yellow remained clogged.
In that case you will need to run cleaner fluid through your yellow
channel.
You can do that either by refilling with cleaner fluid or running
a cleaner cartridge made for your printer.
