Anyone used Macromedia Web Design Studio with a computer with Vista or Windows 7 OS? Is it compatible?
No version number on the package, but the individual programs in the suite (Dreamweaver, Freehand, etc.) are version "3." I see this package for sale, new, at a good price, but I'm not sure it will work on either of my computers which use Windows 7 and Windows Vista Home Premium operating systems.
If the version of that Macromedia Web Design Studio will work only on Win XP but you have Win 7, you can install the free XP mode addon from the MS website:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/windows-xp-mode.aspx
This will enable your Win 7 to run old applications that are designed for XP only.
