What's the best method to remove ball-point pen ink from leather (flesh tone colour)?
It is a pair of Prado shoes that my 22 month old took a Bic to !! How do I get this ink removed from the leather without damaging the leather ?? Thanks
Be careful using hairspray, that trick used to work when the first ingredient listed and the main component of hairspray was alcohol. Newer hairsprays have oil additives, silicone and other chemicals that will leave permanent stains on leather. (AquaNet still uses the old formulation). Straight rubbing alcohol will take it off and then it evaporates so it doesn't leave anything behind.
