Looking to buy a Sizzix or similar - need it to cut wool felt.?
Suggestions? Want a reasonably priced (ie, $100 range versus $200 range) machine that will cut through thick paper and wool felt.
Any suggestions? Personal experience preferred.
I'm still old school with my die cutter. I still have the Sizzix (& also the Cricut) In a way I prefer the Sizzix because it does what the Cricut cant do. Which would be cutting "heavier" things like thick paper, felt etc. You can also cut multiple paper etc & cut it on the Sizzix. Which with the Cricut you cant do. The upside, its cheaper now (because hardly any ppl are buying them now since there's the Cricut & other personal die cutters)
You can buy the bundle probably for around $150 or so. Machine, alpha dies (mb, not sure if they changed it) & a few other things.
The dies arent that expensive anymore. & they have very adorable cute ones. (Unfortunately the only place you can find the Sizzix would be Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnns etc. WalMart does not carry these!)
Small downside to Sizzix, its a pain in the butt having to store all those dies. ugh I hate it. But its ok. Hey, you might want to check out the Sizzix store online. They have very cheap priced offers! Their great! Oh & the eBay Sizzix store (yes, they have that too!) its also cheap.
