Sparkle dots in vision?
For a few days I've been noticing an occasional sparkle or very small white dot in my vision. I can explain it only be referring when the sun catches on something metal and shines in your eye. There extremely small too. They haven't been like "white snow flakes falling" or a massive number of white dots, only roughly one and when I think I notice it, it goes right away. I don't know if I'm imagining things or what? I have also been somewhat sleep deprived the past few days and I'm sure that could do some things for me too (like 5 hours of sleep a night).
I just went to the eye doctor for a check up eye exam for new contacts (didn't dilate and look in) and as far as I know my pressure was fine, so I guess suggestions on going back would be an inconvenience (and for my wallet).
Normally, the "snowflakes" you see are floaters... They are small gel sacs that build up on the eye surface.. They are normally harmless, however if you have an increased amount, it may indicate a retinal tear or other eye problem.
