Is the script in the middle of Rosetta Stone translated?

The top section is hieroglyphics, the middle section is Demotic, and the bottom is classical Greek. Demotic is an Egyptian language, the common language rather than the upper-class hieroglyphs. ("Hieros" means "sacred", and "demotic" means "of the people".)
They actually translated the Demotic section first, in 1799, because it was related to another language they already knew (Coptic) and they assumed it was the same meaning as the Greek text on the bottom. From there, they could translate the hieroglyphics, which they didn't really know at all.
