Is the Cricut Personal Cutting Machine worth the money?
I was wondering if anybody who owns the Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter could tell me how they feel about the product, and specifically answer some of the following questions.
Do you feel that it’s worth the money?
If you have it, is there anything else you can tell me about it that I could not learn from the website?
What do you personally use it for?
Has it made anything easier?
Do you feel like using it is “cheating”?
I totally love doing all sorts of crafts so I would appreciate any answers to these questions. Thanks.
In my opinion it is worth the money. (and I am not a rich woman by any means)
I have had one for about a year. I use it to make cards.
I didn't read much of the instruction manual, mostly just what the buttons did and how to insert the blade. It was pretty easy to figure out. There are tons of youtube videos on different projects and how to use the machine.
It's pretty neat. If you were to buy all of the cut outs that it does you would spend a fortune!
It can cut cloth, paper, chipboard (with a different blade) vinyl, probably other stuff too. It has definately made things easier for me. It's opened up a whole new world as far as making cards goes.
I don't think it is cheating at all.
The only drawback I would say is the price of the cartridges can be expensive, however you can find deals on the internet.
If you have any more questions you can email me if you want, I might not be able to answer them, but I will try.
