cricut tape
This is for anyone with a Provo Craft Cricut?

I have tried numerous times to have someone from cricut answer this question and NO luck, so I am sending it out to ya'all. I bought some of the vinyl for the cricut, to do some stuff on my walls and on some tile. My question is... Do you have to have transfer tape for these types of projects? I noticed it says you can do it with or without, but I wanna know which way is stabler and will last longer. I know that you don't need transfer tape for glass and smooth type materials. But a wall and tile are not smooth. ANYWAY HELP please. Thanks.
I don't want to experiment, cuz I don't want to waste money. I want to know from someone who may have already tried it and knows that the vinyl works without the tape.

I just purchased my own cricut and am excited to use the vinyl. It is TONS easier with tape. I don't have any transfer tape, yet. I used regular masking tape and it work okay. It's too sticky to really work but it does do the job. You can find some cheaper vinyl and tape online. I've got numerous compliments on signwarehouse.com. HTH
