Is there a way to create images on photoshop and transfer to cricut machine?
Or Is there freeware or shareware available somewhere?
The cricut works with SVG images. Those are vector images and are fully scalable. Photoshop is a raster based program rather than a vector based program. Adobe Illustrator is a vector based program.
The makers of the cricut machine have pretty much kept everything proprietary. There are one or two unauthorized software makers selling their pre-made designs. The problem is the usb port is not standard. I think there's a cable coming out soon that will address this issue.
Until then start learning how to create vector images. It will take you a while. If you don't have Illustrator you should try Inkscape. http://www.inkscape.org/ It's an open source (free) vector based drawing program similar to Illustrator and capable of producing SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files.
